April 20, 2010- Art Van Furniture teams up with news talk 760 WJR personality Mitch Albom for a Haiti rebuilding project. The best selling author and sports columnist, along with a team of volunteers, are repairing the ‘Caring and Sharing Mission and Orphanage’ in Port Au Prince which was devastated by the earthquakes. Art Van Furniture arranged for transportation for the plumbers along with the cargo required for this humanitarian effort that left Monday morning for a five day building blitz.(More)
